Plenty of time for this lad to grow and shine, let's not ruin him before he gets going.

Lindsay has to go in the middle if Crooks isn't starting, solid tenacious and is a midfield terrier. Crooks may well play second half if we are struggling in midfield. We've not seen Barlaser and Lindsay start so why not.

It's fair to say ALL the team apart form Iversen looked knackered yesterday from the tremendous athletic performance they put in against Ipswich last Tuesday. Yesterday Vassell was the more tired of them all and Freddie rightly took his place.

Like someone has already said, we've no midweek game so we need to rest the players and not beast them in training. We are coming to the end of the season and this is where some players start to feel the aches/pains and strains. By all means keep their cardio vascular training up but not too much please.

If anything, you're probably looking at Tilt for Wood, nothing wrong with that, the big man has been immense for the last 8 games and needs a rest. Mattock will start make no bones about that either. Vassell on the bench with Woods and Crooks. Freddie and Smith up front. If Vass is still knackered or still nursing that calf strain then Koroma can also play up front, can't see him playing instead of Adelakun on the left at the mo.

Whatever line up Warne picks, we are the team they all want to beat so only the best will do. Over to Warne and his backroom staff to get the lads ready and let's not moan if he changes the team and it goes pear shaped, he knows what needs to be done and we are currently on a massive roll. It's a runaway train I don't want to get off.......
Brin agree with most of that. Tilt for Wood. Lindsay for Crooks then cover to play Koroma for Adelakun. Ladapo for Vassell. What we got to beat Lincoln lost to Southend yesterday. Go for it from from the start.

The tough game yesterday may have been a blessing in disguise. If there had been any complacency before then there certainly wont be now. Only full mental and physical concentration will do to get us where we want to be. The Millers obviously suffered from the physical and mental effort against Ipswich (but not as much as Ipswich did). However, they were still going strong for the final 20 minutes of the game. I don't think that there will be many changes and I wouldn't drop Wood for an away game at the moment because he's at his best when teams come at him, which I would presume Lincoln will do . Perhaps Lindsay for Crooks and Wiles for Mattock. But what do I know?

We are a better team with Crooks in there so I definitely wouldn't take him out, just look at the performance without him at Peterborough. I would chuck Olosunde back in for the pace and maybe put Tilt but just leave it at that.

Why play a new player out of position.

Never change a winning team as the saying goes but as the last match indicated we can’t play our power game when we have two matches in a 7 day spell. We look jaded for the second game.

Maybe it’s our training regime, maybe it’s in the players themselves mentally and physically but with the Ipswich and Burton games you could see the difference.

As for left back I don’t think it’s a problem with Mattock, it’s more to do with the midfield in front of him not cutting out the quick through balls. Against Burton we let Quinn in particular settle on the ball and thread passes deep into our half putting Mattock in a 1 v 1 situation.

Don’t forget it’s this Friday due to the unknown with a 7:45 KO

Sold out so don’t attempt to turn up and night

The ref will be useless more than likely, it’ll be a different one to what EFL state so I won’t bother naming him

If everyone is got and healthy you don't change a winning team.
So the only sensible change would be Lindsey for Crooks.
New players will have to wait.

Ideally Crookes to play but agree if not Lyndsey.

    5 turnstiles open from 6:20
Bag and body search in place
Only take a bag if necessary, that means don’t turn up with fridge especially when people are stood behind you waiting to get through they do serve food in concourse which you could also save for your half time picnic

I think it’s time to show everyone that we mean business at Lincoln on Friday.
We lost the match first game of the season and that didn’t surprise me that much. We also lost 3-0 there in the Micky Mouse Cup that ceased to be of any interest when the under 21 teams got involved.

Nonetheless some feel they’ve got our number. Wind forward 6 months and we are going like a train and they are struggling a little bit, although we know that every dog has its day in this league and we know they are a good team on their own ground.

We go there as leaders bang in form with 7 wins from 8 and would have been eight if Crookes had played at Posh. For me he is as pivotal as Smith. With him we are even more powerful.

What we have got to be is switched on from the first whistle which we weren’t at Portsmouth, Peterborough and at home to Burton.

This is another must win game if we have any thoughts of being top 2.

A win then puts us 6 clear. Ok the others might have games in hand but the points are what counts.

So a big month in February and if we keep the level we have, we could have a big lead by the time the month is out.

If we play anywhere near like we can we will have too much power for most teams at this level.

We have given ourselves a big platform and we must take advantage.

It will be a cauldron under the lights on Friday & no mistake but we play our game and see where it takes us.

    Come on you Millers.
