For those having affairs, going to the supermarket might have an alternative meaning............!

I’ll bet all of those having affairs are having a nightmare trapped at home with their partner 😆😆

Neither of the above affects me so I’m not sure why I’m interested 😫
Not exactly the James Dean type are you Mick? Did you ever consider becoming a Monk lol.

Anyone coming in that was found to have an above normal temperature would have been asked to leave. It’s a pub that has no casual trade, all are villagers and regulars (or both!) so there was no problem. If the same procedures were put in place in a few months time, I would go back. I wouldn’t go to a Wetherspoons, though!
Same with me, I stopped going to the pub a week before lockdown. Its a country pub but they have group's and disco's and it's heaving at the weekend.
They are a great crowd but the blokes keep shaking your hands and the women want to dance with you. Some of the women are nurses at Russells Hall and some work at the local doctors.

I scored pretty heavily in my ****s and up to my mid 20’s Des and then retired “not out” when I met the wife.

The thought of chasing women and taking my clothes off fills me with horror these days.

I’d rather watch the Discovery Channel.

Yes mick, we all thought we were 'Jack the lads' in our youth, and probably were, but as you mature you gain a different perspective on life. I cringe at some of the antics that I got up to when young but then when in a more reflective mood I think that it was just a part of growing up. It's a pity that we didn't have the wisdom of our mature years when we were young as we would probably have made better decisions. There is a very true saying ' I wish I was young again when I knew everything!'

Something like this reminds us of what is really important in our lives. It's not ***, alcohol or football.
Fck me, is there any point in carrying on. lol

To be honest Des - with how 2020 has panned out for me, and now the Coronavirus, and the pure greed of many footballers - like many, I have not missed football, could not care less, and feel there's more important things in life. As you said in a previous post which i echo - life is for living!

It’s six weeks today since I locked myself away.

How would I sum myself up at this point?

Try thinking “Jonny’s home” from The Shining with Jack Nicholson.

Funny you can say that never having met me.

58......still fit and slim and well under 12 stone and still with naturally brown hair with hardly any grey😎

I bump into people I haven’t met since school days in 1978 and they still instantly recognise me.

The last one was earlier this year when a very foxy chick ( back in 78 ) said to me....”Mick.....we were in the same year at the Grange school”.

She had to tell me who she was because she was as rough as a bears a r s e!

Taking care of yourself over a long period pays off.

Des will tell you about the perils of a degenerate life.
