    Whenever I try and use the image upload button in the reply box I always get an 'Upload of file failed' message, but it doesn't say why.

    I have to use an image hosting website to post a pic, which reminds me I must check on my onions.

    You could try postimage.org which is the one I use. I don't know if it's available or whether the pictures would be upside down where you are, but it's pretty easy to use once you know what format to use.

    Yep, I select the JPG file, click upload, then get the failed message. The statue pic was 3,422 KB, might that be the problem?

    The pic below is only 91KB, and that one uploaded ok.

    The upload button only allows Jpeg, png or gif formats, if you're trying to upload a bitmap it will come up with the upload failed message.
