That's awful. My heart goes out to those who get in the way of a wildfire. It does feel a bit like Russian roulette with chance seemingly driving where the next one will pop up. We're under a 24 hour red alert at the moment because of the gusting winds, low humidity and high temperatures for the season. (Yesterday was 95/35)

We also have the smoke and ash from the current fire in Napa about 60 miles away. (When we moved here, we looked at the Napa area as an option and I'm so glad we didn't go that way.)
