    Forget Barlaser...sign Norman

Just happened across this on you tube, the pitch looks like Millmoor when I first went in the 50s !
Oh, and the bit at the end wouldn't get passed the censors today !!

Enjoyed that! Norman Wisdom could move the ball well.

Those who've done the reading will know that I spent an interesting hour with Norman Wisdom a few years before his death. He is so like his film persona in real life.

Yes, I enjoyed the Norman Wisdom part of your book CT, in fact I enjoyed the whole book very much. Well worth a read fellow Madsters and also for anyone who's travelled with work or wishes that they had.

Sota, I’ll second that. A very worthy read indeed covering a person’s travels through life and the exciting and interesting situations CT found himself in.

If I'd have known the book featured someone who'd appeared on film in black face then I wouldn't have bought it. In fact, get the bonfire lit Mrs CA....

True, best wait a while. We just got over the smoke from the WA/OR fires a month back and now seem to be importing the smoke from your fires. Hope you are all OK. One of my co-workers narrowly avoided losing their house to a forest fire and another one who was originally from Eastern Washington saw her friends lose their cattle ranches as that fire took out 100,000 acres in under 24 hours.
