He’d be a better option than Jack Ross but he’s on a long term contract at St Mirren so probably wouldn’t be viable considering we will have had to pay off Glass and his merry men.

... one o' said merry men being Allan Russell .... the much hyped strikers coach charged wi the task o' showin' oor forwards how tae succeed in hittin' the proverbial coo's airse wi the proverbial plucky thing. Surely his pay off should be performance based ... in which case we should be expectin a fkn rebate.

Apparently an approach has been made to talk to Jim Goodwin but has been refused. St Mirren want 250k compensation agreed before allowing any talks to take place .

Here’s an interesting statistic about Goodwin on Good Friday: he has only achieved a total of 6 league points from an available 27 (22.2%) whereas Glass secured 30 points from an available 72 (42.86%), ie, almost double. We now have five games coming up against teams from the bottom half of the league and the “data” after that final “prawcess” will be analysed closely, I’m sure. However, he needs a full season, commencing in the Autumn, to put his own stamp on the team and we shall then see a clearer picture on his true impact. I predict a fourth place position with Hearts in third.
