They all put a shift in and got the points you can’t ask for more than that

Well done to the players. Third win at ooam this season, third win this season. More to come or papering ovva the cracks? Time will tell.

The only downsides are the first Asbaghi league win will secure his future until the end of the season and Lee will Tweet.

Pleased for the HC to get that monkey off his back too .

Whether this is the start of a climb to safety I pretty much doubt but none the less I'm extremely pleased for the three points .

Switched the sound off straight away when he said we are definitely playing 3 at the back.
And it was as plain as the nose on yer face that we definitely weren’t.

    So then a 4-5-1 switching to a 4-3-3.
    And we look comfortable.
But same was said against Hudders until Asbaghi changed to 4-4-2.
Let’s hope he doesn’t do the same here.

Watched the Hudders v Sheff U match earlier - and Barnsley play the ball about the park at times as good if not better than any other Championship team.
It just needs those slick moves converting into goals.
But we do look like scoring - which makes a change.
Fingers crossed Asbaghi dosent change the formation 2nd half.

However - as Ismael said after the Swansea match - we need lots of chances to score - they only needed one.
    2nd Half
Started as we finished the 1st Half with some lovely passing football - but again looking fragile at the back.
Benson on 52 minutes giving away a terrible pass - which put them in on goal.
Quite a few shots from long range from Barnsley with some looking easier to score than miss.
We are shooting from distance but not making any chances in the box - as deliver into the box remains poor.

And then Quina gets one on target - 1-0 😮

Asbaghi then subs Quina for Cole -
    Going from 4-5-1 to a 4-4-2.
Which in my book changed the formation and dynamics of the team - we just didn’t look as good.

Benson IMO isn’t fit - and looks nothing like the player at the start of the season.
The rest of the team played well.
    Especially Vita, Quina and Gomes.

As I said from the 1st Half - our passing around the park is as good if not better than most in the Championship.
If that passing clicks in front of goal then we could see a total transformation in this team.
Confidence would soar - and that’s all what’s lacking - a bit more confidence around the 18 yarder.

Not much to savour or be positive about supporting BFC this season, so let's enjoy the moment.

Still a mountain to clime but other results also in our favour.

If we're still clinging onto hopes of staying up, then its good at least that the other strugglers above us all lost.
And if only we could build on this and not just make it a complete flash in the pan win, like the Derby game.
If we could gain another win and bring the safety gap down to 3+ points, then Reading might struggle more under the pressure. And remember they did last season when we kicked them out of the top 6 lol.
Im not getting carried away here yet, but Im happy to say well done to the lads for a great result. 😏

Play offs here we come !
Signing Quinna and Bassi “ is within our budget”
Me very single one of them played a part today…. Credit to the lads. Very much so.
Morris looked knackered after 16 minutes, but he towed and towed…. This lad shows a heart like a lion.
