Do we need 3 midfielders and two centre half/defensive midfielders on the bench?

Poyas selections are beginning to disturb me, win or lose today.

Just perhaps that’s all we have available.

We never know Poggy because the club dont update the OWS with injury/illness information.

On the face of it this selection is concerning.

    Ist Half

Who the hell are the commentators on iFollow !?!?!
Switched the sound off straight away when he said we are definitely playing 3 at the back.
And it was as plain as the nose on yer face that we definitely weren’t.

    So then a 4-5-1 switching to a 4-3-3.
    And we look comfortable.
But same was said against Hudders until Asbaghi changed to 4-4-2.
Let’s hope he doesn’t do the same here.

Watched the Hudders v Sheff U match earlier - and Barnsley play the ball about the park at times as good if not better than any other Championship team.
It just needs those slick moves converting into goals.
But we do look like scoring - which makes a change.
Fingers crossed Asbaghi dosent change the formation 2nd half.

However - as Ismael said after the Swansea match - we need lots of chances to score - they only needed one.

What’s that substation all about Quina off and Cole on?
We’ve conceded midfield to put another striker on I just hope it pays off for him because if we don’t win this he’s in for a rough ride.
