Icky will be on a high after his goal Sunday so he's right that will give him some momentum going into the Charlton game.

We CHOOSE not to have players such as Cooper, Hull, Greaves, etc in our squad when the rules allow it. That's fine. I understand the reason: they develop quicker whilst being loaned out into a more competitive environment. But we CHOOSE to not supplement our squad with youth and so I personally find the 'smaller squad' line a bit disingenuous.

Just to add to the above, I do accept that some clubs have U23 squads - a go between set up between youth and senior. We don't have that. Interestingly it's usually clubs who can least afford it that have those set ups!
