    Happens all the time, players lose their place. And the coach doesn't have to say any more than 'competition for places' when the team is winning. However, his 11 goals and number of assists mean he's not like those others in that he's been a major contributor. This hopefully will be taken into account and we'll see him on the bench again, at least, very soon.
    I get what you are saying about what he offers when we are attacking, but the flip side to that is that we are no longer conceding goals for fun.
    What we lose going forward we seem to have gained defensively.
    Some have moaned about no plan B. Personnel wise this is clearly a plan away from Plan A.
    If we carry in winning then it’s a master stroke. Personally if he is fit and available then the bench is somewhere he belongs at the minute.

    When Roberts plays, we're defending with 10 men which we aren't good enough to do.

    He's not better than RR in the no.10 role and doesn't work hard enough to play as a wing back or centre mid.
