And only 7 weeks before the new season starts we have got to start replacing them & with our track record it could be after the season starts.

With you mentioning Ladapo Jimmy, and apologies if this has already been posted and I've missed it, but I've just seen this decent parting shot at our club from him when he joined Ipswich.

He's scored one or two of those in his time here 😆

Correct, it's not the losing of players, good luck to them, it's all about attracting replacements of a decent standard

Hard to replace icky. For me one of the better performers whilst we struggled after Christmas.

Imagine the twitter feeds now Rotherham lose players to teams in a lower division
Who cares what the twitter tw*ts write?
The reality is we will be playing in the Championship next season and, regardless of their arrogance, those two clubs won't 🙂

I understand it is about money to a large degree but fighting hard all season to get promoted and then dropping when you don't have to feels weird to me. Money is a huge factor but what about furthering yourself? Idk.

Easy to say when I'm not in that situation but I can't imagine battling to go up and then choosing to go back down again.

I get your point but maybe he foresees yet another season of battling to survive in the Championship with RUFC (the 4th time with us?) less of an attraction to possibly a promotion chasing season with DCFC. Not something we'd like to think about but we could be swapping positions again in 12 months and if that's the case and DCFC get their house in order there may be a push for the promised land. Add on top of that say a 3y contract at even a moderate 2K/week extra then it starts to maybe make sense?
