That's exactly the problem! Norwich fans I know who went to the game reckoned we were the best team they had played and that we have some decent players. We do have some decent players and we can play some good football, just alternated with woeful performances! Yes, a lot of this is down to individual players themselves but surely managing concentration and motivation are, like tactics and team selection, part of the managers job! Bruce may not be to blame for lack of funds or us not being able to recruit a proven goalscorer but he is surely culpable for many of our poor performances and results!

Why is Bruce “as good as we may expect” exactly?

Four years ago Graham Potter was managing fishermen and whale hunters from the 4th division of Swedish football up to their premier division and into the Europa League and winning easily away at Arsenal.

I looked more closely into what he’s achieved and all of those facts alongside he was an ex Baggie made him a very good option for Albion in my humble opinion.

Our lack of forward thinking and planning really makes my urine boil.

There are some very obvious “open goals” that we miss.

Nathan Redmond and Demari Gray who we could’ve stolen from Blues, Ollie Watkins at Exeter or Brentford, Ivan Toney before Brentford signed him.......the list goes on and on of players us fans spot but our club seem incapable of noticing.

We are are bottom 7 club, I’m just not sure which of the bottom 7 positions we’ll end up in.
I’ve assumed a financial restraint on any early termination of Bruce’s contract. Accordingly the ‘devil you know’ seems inevitable.
We continue to suffer from the horrific transfers of previous seasons and simultaneously, a reluctance to fund (via transfer fees and wages) of
better options. From prospective players’ viewpoint, I suspect we are not an attractive club to join, given the ownership and its unsettling status. I was surprised, but pleased to see Rogic sign and overall have not had a poor transfer result.
I have to accept your ‘rose tinted’ label though, albeit I remain paranoid with my expectation of player commitment !

But we have gone backwards since Bruce has taken over - both last season and the first ten games. Arguably you could say the keeper and defence are worse - midfield better and no improvement to be seen in scoring goals!

Kipre was better than Bartley - Palmer is better than Button - letting Taylor go was shocking - TGH does not know whether he’s coming or going! Still we see third rate players in Phillips and Reach being thrown on the pitch! Why don’t we just pay up Zohorse’s contract and tell him to do one? Surely this would be cheaper and better for morale!

Some ex players with passion would be cheaper and a better option than Bruce & Son who will be on big contracts! Cardiff react and dismiss their manager but fat Ron is friends with Bruce hence no recruitment process which is corrupt in itself!

Where is the Robinson money as this could have paid for Clarke?

I go to a lot of games Prando and many away but sick to my back teeth at the way the club is being run!

PS - to have paid 15 million for Grant was a bad joke and Huddersfield supporters had a great laugh over this! We never learn hence why Asante will become a hero!
