Oh please, don’t wish for var

    I get your point though

Are we still allowed to say Man of the Match? I noticed today that Salah was named player of the match, is that the latest thing ffs or have I just not noticed before?

Speaking of VAR CAM, on the Huddersfield site, some of their supporters reckoned their penalty shout late on would have been awarded if VAR had been used. I recorded the match also and watched it back yesterday, and never saw the handball by their player from our corner in the 1st half and I was sat down that end, which as the rules are at the moment would also have given us a penalty with VAR. We’d would have been given one for the kick on the ankle Washington took

Same with other sports, cricket for example where Joe Root is a batter. Yorkshire pudding I presume.

But we minions can fight back and stick to batsman, linesman and the ultimate sin, actress

Quite a few different things tbh, depending on who opposition are aswell
Sometimes it’s just being in the right place all the time, putting your body on line, gives 100%, skill

I also try to give it to them that’s been on pitch from start which isn’t always possible, we’ve had games where none deserved it but sub did after only a minutes play

It's simple really, the player who has had the best game, regardless of his position or whether he has scored or not.
However it's usually the goalscorer !
Saturday was a strange one as no one was outstanding, I would have gone with Grant Hall, for his general all round good defending, which he has done most games so far.
You could also make a strong case for Kelly, even though he wasn't on for long,as his contribution turned one point into three.
