Yes it does. The maths really aren't that difficult. The amount of time played would be exactly the same. The different this that and the other is another argument and could work either way.

Like the most of us I thought that Burnley would be out of site.
It looked like they’d won the league, FA cup and the lottery at the end and that’s credit to us.

Our comms had it dead right regarding the yellow cards and what the ref was going to do.

You have to be resigned to the fact that the big clubs will get the decisions.

Don’t go singling any of our players out for any mistakes or try and find reasons why they lost us the game. It wouldn’t be fair and they don’t deserve it.

I don't think anything other than GUTTED can sum that one up! How can a 90 minute game of football take 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete? When we went down to 10 men I was watching and hoping that the 1 in their score wouldn't change to a 2 and then when it went 90+4...5...6... I just knew before it went final it would change to a 3. One thing it has shown though, we might be on the ropes at the moment but we have a team capable of holding their own in this league when they want to.

Gutted is right but what a heroic performance from the lads. I expected us to get hammered but we might even have nicked it without the red card - second booking looked very harsh. The character of the team bodes well for the rest of the season.

Gutted indeed. The sending off was the turning point. It wasn't even a foul. He pulled out of the challenge. Fantastic performance but no points and likely to be absolutely knackered for Saturday.

The time wasting was rather excessive by us but again, we come across a homer ref. Why was bramall booked for that first tackle when he made no contact, Kompany got him booked the tool! Ref bought it.
