It is going to have to be quite the turnaround from the Latics to get anything from this reverse fixture so soon after the last game. If they manage it , it will be extremely disappointing from a Magpie point of view.
Yes they are at home this time but universally acknowledged as the poorest side to visit the Lane this season, brittle confidence on the pitch, a manager who refused to take my advice and help when offered at Half Time, unable to play out from the back giving the ball away in very dangerous areas quite a few times and when they went long instead it just handed possession to Notts. Plus a very vocal fanbase who have clearly lost all hope and belief in their manager so will be ready to turn at the slightest prompting. It's a Notts win.

It's one of those games where the work on the training ground over the last couple of years should have us halfway there for the 3pts. They don't have anywhere near our cohesion and quality.
They'll have a real go this time, but as long as we don't make gaffes and the WBs play their normal games and exploit the space they'll leave, we'll win.
Should be by another comfortable margin, but I predict drama 1-2 (Rodrigues, Austin), 999 away
The pessimist in me thinks we're due one of those games where we just don't turn up, or perhaps another freak result like Dorking away. I hope I'm wrong, but I'll go for:
Oldham 3-1 Notts
Ruben
Well it should be a stroll, if the Oldham players can't hold on to an away point after neutralising a shock early goal by the league leaders (us) then their confidence in themselves can't be very high. And they couldn't put up much of a fight after our second goal either, it was the suddenness that shocked them, it was then as if they had just accepted that their defeat was inevitable.
If Notts can just pass the ball around willy-nilly as they did on Boxing Day and Oldham trail after it their spirit will fade and we should add a few to our "goals for" tally.
2-0 to Notts.
