    This is a tough one.

At first I was tempted to go with my predication of 2-1 to Oldham in the Meadow Lane clash.

Then I thought about it and concluded that if Oldham were as bad as they apparently were on Monday, the likelihood they are going to improve enough to beat us less than a week later is very slim. Notts will probably win this one also.

It could be a draw though if their fans are now demanding a response to a heavy defeat in front of a holiday crowd and we go there expecting a repeat of an easy ride.

For some reason, I'm feeling very much compelled to go with the 3rd choice.

    Oldham 1 Notts 1.

I can’t see beyond a Notts win. I think it will be tougher than the home game though.
Given how there fans reacted at ML if we take an early lead the fans will turn on Oldham and the manager in particular. That could make our job easier.
The only way I see anything other than a Notts win is if we simply try to coast through the game. That will be our biggest challenge IMO

Oldham away feels like it should be a tough game, and after Boxing Day they’ll be fired up which might well play into our hands. Their gaffer’s a clueless clown though so 3-2 us.. Gotta be 1500 Notts.

@OG, I can't see Bostock in the prediction league. 3-1 to Notts for me Bostock to open his scorecard + 2 for Rodders. 795 Pies there

I agree that this is a tough one, but that has to be down to five decades as a Notts fan! Anyone who was there on Boxing Day would be forgiven for thinking this should be a stroll, but football doesn't work like that. The easiest way we will lose is to think we only have to turn up to win, but I don't think that's in our mentality under Luke Williams.
