Awful performance. Fosu and Hjelde had shockers. Subs made no difference. Lindsay offers nothing in an attacking sense. Huge game on Saturday now.

Charlie Chaplin defending is back again. Defend like that in April and they'll need to replace the scoreboard with a Quantum computer. Our inconsistency is something else. Would Basil really have made that much difference?

Preston were good, well organised and for the first 15 mins of the 2nd half were outstanding, made us look very very poor. I will try to make a few positives, Humphreys is a class act, so calm, reads the game well and can play either side of the defence. Blackett looks good, Coventry and Odifin did ok, remember Coventry has been quite ill. Ogbene at least looked like he was trying to do something. The changes made us better but never made the keeper work, Kioso looks a more positive player on the right but he is well short of match fitness. Now for the negatives. No real fight in that team at the moment, slow to react, no pressing as a team, failure time and time again to get a cross in the box. Hugil was terrible, made no attempt to jump to head the ball, just runs at the player, that is not a captains performance. Washington looked like a school kid that ran around with no idea what to do and when. Fosu needs to learn to pass. We have to play Fergie because NOBODY ELSE can take a set piece, MT listen to me, never let Bramall take another set piece, he is crap. If Peltier plays CB in a two we will not win that game, he is terrible, no matter what Gru says BW is 1000% better than Peltier, the fact MT wants to offer him a new contract is a joke at this level. To say we are in a relegation battle, they don't look up for a fight at all, MT can't seem to motivate them, there is a lack of effort and no real desire in the last 2 performances. We have to win on Saturday if that same 11 start we will not win, and at the moment I do not have confidence we will have enough a lot to improve.

Absolutely ****ing shocking, it was like they’d never played together before

80% of game the players are just bunched together instead of spreading out leaving problems when we have the ball because there’s no ****er to pass to.

    Well don't say I didn't warn you.

After you were all cracking the champagne open after a mediocre performance against a poor QPR team, I said arrogance and complaceny was in the air.

Since then , we have put two of the most dreadful performances in I have ever witnessed and Jordan Huge-bill looks even worse than I thought. How did he miss that header tonight?

P.s Brinny boy the scales are slowly tipping towards IBS. Since our bet the Millers have got 0 points and Huge-bill has scored 0 goals.

One of those games where if we'd equalized they'd have scored again. The Championship defences are just too organized for us at the moment.
Blackpool have gained three points and six goals on us tonight. Nothing is guaranteed yet.
Six minutes added at the end. Four for substitutions and " injuries", only two for time wasting. Time for the F.A to step in.

Another point that I missed off, we never make diagonal cross field passes now that Dan has gone, it takes us 3 players to switch play, that is terrible and allows even the worst teams to re-position, what do they do in training? I was so depressed watch Hugil tonight I even heard myself say we would be better with Eaves up front, I went for a stiff drink after that comment.

Poor performance but against a very well organized and Athletic PNE. I loved the way they took quick throws and as soon as their goalkeeper got the ball both full backs were off out wide and more often than not were given the ball to run forward. We were okish first half but they could have been out of sight in first 15 mins of 2nd half.
As for us, we looked lethargic for a lot of the game, especially 2nd half, but I think we need 2 strikers on from the off. Our substitutions at least stopped them from charging forward at will 2nd half, but whilst we got further forward, we never really looked like getting a 2nd goal, so we regroup for a game on saturday that we absolutely cannot afford to lose. Poor display tonight, i think most of the comments are spot on. Lack of effort, poor defending, no direction or invention.
Time to earn your money MT and get the lads in the right frame of mind and playing some foorbal on Saturday.
No two ways about we are still in the relegation dog fight big style, don't let us fail again, Warne couldn't do it mainly due to his lack of nous, but i'm expecting better this time.
