Preston North End Post Match Thoughts

No doubt that injuries are hitting us hard and no doubt that PNE are a decent Championship side but the writing is starting to appear on the wall. An all too familiar story of our last relegation where there's far too much 'close but no cigar' games that aren't going our way. You can't make silly errors at this level either in front of your own goal or in front of the opponents goal and expect to get away with it. On to Saturday where hope will no doubt rise again but to no avail?

Rubbish. No fight, no desire no footballing intelligence. To put in a performance like that at home they should hang their heads in shame

We look like 10 players with individual game plans.

No points against Birmingham and Preston tells it's own story. Cardiff is now a must win game looking at the run in.

Preston are a well drilled and organised side but that doesn't excuse our utterly abject crossing and set-piece delivery. It was bad beyond belief tonight. Just shocking. Men against boys.

BW been mentioned what difference would he have made? Blackett did ok when he got on. Odoffin Humphreys only two players for us who you couldn't fault. Chieo kept going. Rathbone we need him back. Re group & move onto Saturday.

I know that a lot will disagree with me but I think Fosu is terrible. He holds on to the ball and tries dribbling and then loses the ball. His crossing and passing is atrocious and he's lazy and sometimes can't be bothered to run for a ball that's not directly to his feet. He brings pressure back onto the team by losing possession. He's not good enough because he's not a team player. There are a few others who I.M.O. aren't good enough but tonight Fosu was the main culprit. Another poor display tonight and we need to stop the rot before it gets any worse.
