TBF, neither of them have been given a decent run and being young they can only get better IMO

It's a clear step up between NL and L2, so if you aren't first choice at NL level you have got to be worried.

Naturally LW knows best, so leave it with him and his staff

    Brindley - under contact

    Cameron - offered new contract
    Bajrami - under contract

    Palmer - under contract
    Bostock - under contract
    Francis - released

    Austin - under contract
Rodrigues - offered contract (if drunken Langstaff is to be believed, he's already signed it &#128514

    Langstaff - under contract

Agree about Slocombe. We might see Brooks replicate his current situation i.e. training with us but turning out for another team on the proviso he can be recalled at any time.

Rawlinson is touch and go. He offers something our other centre halves don't, in that he relishes a physical battle. Could be useful on the bench if we are under a barrage in certain games. If not, I'm glad he got to play and win at Wembley after being overlooked in other big playoff matches.

I would probably give Vincent a new deal on the basis he is a tidy footballer and versatile, so can provide cover in a number of positions. A good man to have on the bench.

Regards O’Brien, I wonder if he will leave and carry on his coaching job with Sheffield Wednesday/United?
I understand that League 1 & 2 clubs are allowed a maximum squad size of 22 plus goalkeepers. Also I think you can also add players who are under 21 ( not sure if that is at the start of the season or not).
On that basis I think unless management are sure the players are of a high enough standard then they ought to be released.

"Clubs in League One and Two are limited to a 22-man squad. That number does not include goalkeepers or players who were under the age of 21 at the start of the calendar year."

I'd like as many of the players that made Notts a football league club again get to be football league players themselves.

I'm thinking of Rawlo, Brinds, Vinny especially here. That Cameron stays should go without saying.

Even the players who fell away like Francis and Mitchell will benefit from our success. Signing EFL Notts County players will be a big draw for NL clubs and they should get professional contracts easy.

Everything about Maca screams 'I want to stay' and I think he will. I don't think the 'offers we can't refuse' will come as teams will have had questions about his overall game watching the play-offs. I think Ruben will be the 50/50 one. He's had 3 years and is no spring chicken really. I reckon that'll depend on what interested teams say to him. If a big L1 club really wants him and says all the right things...

I can see Nemane only being offered a 1 year deal, as he will not be the first choice RWB next season. I would also expect us to sign a LWB to replace Chicksen. Controversial, but if we are going to challenge for promotion then we need better players to take us there..

They might think Nemane, TAR, Jones, Chicksen and Brindley as cover is enough at RWB...
But another LWB will definitely be on the way

I'd Nemane is our backup RWB next season, then I'll personally be very happy. That would say it all.

    What a performance on Saturday

That wouldn't be controversial to me. In total agreement on that point.
