I think you’re right, we should deal hard. He wants to come by all accounts so that’s 70% of the battle won.

Yes Gordon was £45 and Maddison is currently better, but imo we paid over market value for Gordon and we took a gamble on his potential.

Plus, Maddison only has a year left and they're in the Chimpo so their bargaining position is a lot weaker than if they'd stayed up.
