Yes designs are in place to expand to 16k snd 20k, but I wonder if there are any other options where we can expand without significant changes.
On the second bit,was told very early on that that’s the heavily fully cost effective way to 16 to 20 etc.was also told recently an idea of safe standing doesn”t actually make much difference to cost either way.

We are beginning to sound like the massive

We are a small club in a small town.

We should drop this idea and invest in the team

Exactly. No point in having a bigger ground if we don’t invest in better players. We would end up playing in a more than half empty ground in League 1.

    Remember what happened to Darlington

    30, 000 ground

    Non league team

The first step would be to sell more home tickets in the south stand by giving the away team just 1200 and putting them in the SW corner
This would free up whole blocks for families and friends to sit together
But we don’t sell those volumes of tickets on a regular basis hence why Rufc immediately gives larger away teams the full 2600 or so.
So it’s up to the Rotherham public first before Tony funds another costly and risky construction project

Not as easily done, when there are maybe 22 teams that look more attractive to potential signings, unless a player is happy moving to Devon, then its 23 teams.

Footballers with families would love to move to Devon I'm sure.

So along with a further half a dozen or so clubs in L1, and a couple in L2, the recruitment team don't have it easy. When we say lets invest in the team, its not that simple, yes we can spend the money breaking our transfer fee record to sign a player which the club will accept but its paying a wage that the player will be willing to accept playing for us and still meeting FFP, when nearly half the EFL is a better option.
A bigger crowd helps with the FFP, not just through ticket sales but commercial revenue.
