No problem from me I just wont use them, I very rarely pay by card unless buying over the phone etc not worth moaning about but bound to lose some customers, each to their own. COYP

For me this is a bad move as it means I will no longer be able to buy anything inside the ground as I don't have a debit/credit card. Thankfully the ticket office and club shop I should still be alright to buy tickets and anything from the shop. The first wrong move the club have made in a while imo.
Someone told me today that Barclays in West Bridgford has shut this week and although it may seem like progress enforcing contactless, it should be about choice and not alienating some of your customer base (i.e those not tech savvy and particularly the elderly) I have no problem in using either means of paying but just because some see it as progress doesn't make it right, it seems the banks are dictating everything, from how you should pay, how you should think (and if you don't think in there way they cancel you) Lets not forget they ****ed up in the 2000's massively and we bailed them out, as I've said before to other people as soon as you give up on quality and focus on quantity you may as well shut the doors.
Contactless may seem very easy and innocuous, but I can't help feeling there is something sinister behind the switch to remove cash, (not Notts in this instance) but once cash is gone completely, how likely is it that you will be cancelled if you do not think/behave, as the powers that be want you too think/behave.
I think it's just the world changing tbh. As crazy as it sounds using cash is becoming outdated. Even something as simple as ordering a takeaway is done through just eat mostly. People still have the choice to pay cash in many places, yet all i see are people using card. The vans outside the ground will most likely still take cash though.
Prefer to use cash. Each time you use a card I think 1.5% - 3.5% goes as a fee to the bank so you are paying them for the honour of using your own money. You may say the seller bears this brunt but they will always pass it on.
Correct me if I am wrong but that is how I understand it
I don't have any issues with people using a card or preferring a card but there should always be a choice whilst cash is legal tender.
