It was described as a minor injury and if I remember right he made a couple of sub appearances at the back end of last season. I don't know if his current problem is a new one or a recurrence of his old one. I hope we get him fit, from the bit I saw he seemed to offer something different up front. His game was more about running at defenders with pace, none of our other striking options offer that.

It was described as minor upon signing, but then discovered to be a bit more serious and he was out for a few months. He had one decent shot against Woking after coming on as a sub for 20 minutes, and that’s pretty much it. From his own description, I think his main attribute is closing down players and being something of a workhorse.

That's the game I saw him in apart from when he was wearing an opposition shirt. According to wiki he signed on 15th March and the Woking game was 15th April, so he was only out for a month at first.

When we signed him it seemed an odd signing and out of the blue. To sign him injured was even more ood and the fact he's still injured makes me wonder what the reason to sign him was. For something theat was classed as a slight niggle it seems to have gone on quite some time.

Even worse is the fact we paid a fee for a striker who was injured and hasn’t even had a pre season yet in a notts shirt. He won’t be here come Xmas if this carries on.

He won’t be here at Xmas? He’s on a 3 year contract so not sure how you come to that conclusion
