As well as being disappointed if we didn't give him a try, I'd be massively pissed off. Chelsea don't have to sell any more because they sold a hotel back to themselves. Can you imagine if we tried to do that with Strawberry Place? There'd be a new PL rule against it within days including a clause fining us for calling it that without there being any real strawberries there.

    Nesqik strawberry powder lol.

We don't have PSR issues. It's all BS. The club hAked the local hacks who are in pocket to report that we're 'close to the wind' with finances.

    However, we're in no trouble.

I really would be baffled if we sold Minteh even for £40m. When we will need to invest that amount in a player of his potential in replacement.

Unless we go for an Raphina or Rodrygo type. Both of which I just don't see happening.
Raph is more likely but still improbable.

We can find our talent for the future in time but we need a player on par with Gordon, Isak & Barnes for that right hand side.

The rest of this month will be pretty quiet. When July and the New financial period starts we'll see movement. With the euros maybe not until after that.

Until then, take all reports with a pinch of salt as it will all be either agent driven nonsense, back room dark arts and misinformation from the EPL and their cadre of media fraudsters or complete fantasy to generate clicks and fill column inches is irrelevant dying publications people stopped listening to 20 yrs ago.

Either way, keep ya heeds up and don't let the noise get to ya heed bonny lads and lasses!

Whilst I don't doubt we've been "inundated" with offers for him. I'd be amazed if we sold him without even trying him.

I'd be quite irked as well to be honest.

I'm just at a point where football is more about accountancy than it is about the game on the pitch.

What a sorry state of affairs.
