The ironical thing is that he had all of the players on the bench who could have easily torn that defence apart and provided ammunition for the striker(s), i.e. as said above Palmer and Gordon. Those two coming on would have put that game to bed.

Just what does Southgate need to learn?

Just a thought - was it him who missed a penalty against Portugal in Euro 2000?
May be that just set up his approach as a manager

It was and he's not a winner.

We’ve got no f**king chance while the middle of the pitch is so congested.

Only width we have is Saka or the fullbacks… which if we’re honest means only Walker… and even if Shaw returns he’s been out that long he hasn’t got the legs to run up and down all game.

Zero point playing 2 holders in front of the defenders when Denmark had only one attacker - and It wasn't Mbappe FFS. .

Southgate is the personification of the FA and the state of the people who run the national sport.

You get what you deserve and until the people the true England fans stand up and demand the executives of the FA & all of the leeches who suckle at the teat of the national teams finances be removed and barred from having any involvement with football for the rest of their lives the status quo will maintain.

Should by some miracle England make it to a semi final it will be based on luck not judgement.

That is the issue. There is no plan or tactics.

The whole thing is a waste of time.

Precious little England darlings think everyone is criticising them. They are getting it wrong. It is Southgate getting bombed not the players.

Playing Vindaloo in the ahem… establishment I’m in… Vindaloo comes on, ‘We’ll score one more than you’… needs to be corrected to the Southgate version… ‘we’ll try to concede one less than you’ … fuming

These players can win the tournament… If they were allowed.

The only team to win is the team that doesn’t get knocked out…

    Let’s Baz ball it

Needs to drop some big names: Rice, Bellingham, Saka, Foden. Reputation and PL form won’t win the tournament.
Mainoo and Palmer deserve to start and so does Gordon coz Foden’s done nothing.

Has Southgit got the balls to do it? Naaaah, no chance.
