Forcing square pegs into round holes won't work once the whole system is fibre and computerised.

Yes one would hope so, but it would be nice to see a guy who was working as a BT engineer go on to have a successful football management career, not least because that would benefit this club first. That part-time chiropodist we hired about 35 years ago didn't do too badly!

Maybe the same reason William's did .?

Good job he didn't against Boreham Wood (whatever happened to them).

But we seem to have got into a pattern, Boreham Wood, Chesterfield, Fleetwood, must be lots of others. Go behind and have some miraculous last minute comeback.

Jodi Jones with his fantastic ability can play on the right if necessary and still pose a threat, but I think it's pretty obvious that the need to cut back onto his left foot cramps his style somewhat, and makes him much easier to defend against, compared with when he plays on his natural side and just flies past defenders. You might swap him to the right for a few minutes during a game just to give the opposition full-backs a different look, but he should only start and stay on the right if no other option is available. Playing Sam Austin on the right against Fleetwood would have provided much better balance than moving Jones across and trying to pretend Cedwyn is a winger.

I agree. On more than one occasion after he'd beaten his man he had to turn back onto his left foot losing ***** moments and getting his cross blocked.

Our last gasp equaliser against Borehamwood came from Jones crossing the ball from the right

Quite right. Let’s see how it all pans out when everyone is fit and we get our new signings.

That's where I'm at, actually seeing Palmer, Robertson and Tsaroulla on the pitch suddenly made the squad appear a bit stronger for me.

I still think we are light in certain areas, so another two 'in the building' would be welcome.

He scored 2 of his 3 goals against us for Coventry years back from the right. He swapped over to the left from time to time but mostly on the right. His 3rd came from the left though.
