It’s hard to actually put a price on him. At the start of the season I would probably have accepted £10-15m, now that would be nowhere near enough - after just 3 games.

Our chances of promotion significantly increase with him in the side. So how do you put a price on the cost of that?

I think £25m+ and an option to loan for the season would do it, but I can’t remember us producing an academy prospect that makes such an impact in games.

It would be galling to lose him before the window and it would (surely) have to be mega money.

I do not have the time to spend on here as much as others, however, for me, I would not sell unless he really wants to go.

He is young and he is a Baggies through and through, so unless he has a real desire to move on (and I accept he is talented and could be a big star in a bigger side) let’s do everything to keep him.

We won’t though will we, as we are what we are. A once big club……..but no longer such……. Football is a money game….and players know that and the brain and financial rewards dictate the brain.

Same for most, if not all of us.

Absolutely no chance Southampton will get him let alone for £10m 🤡🤡😂😂

This is the benefit of the four year contract, we can tell them to f u c k off or otherwise stump up massive money.

Palace are also sniffing. I think it would take an unbelievable offer for us to sell him now. I still think it is possible to receive that offer though.

Any takers for Wallace on his rather large salary? I can start my car ready!

Same answer as above, pay stupid money or f u c k off.

Maybe it’s because I’m a business type person, I know the value of my assets.

If he had a year left you take £10m to £15m, with a four year contract you tell them to stop wasting your time.

He’ll still be worth big money or really stupid money in a year or two from now, we have absolutely no need to panic.

Why waste your career going to Southampton anyway, it’s like O’Shea picking yet another relegation certainty.

Fellows is so technically good that if Man City could pay stupid money for Mahrez seven years ago just think what Fellows might be worth to them.

Fellows is good enough for any of the big six already.

I actually think he might struggle in the Prem Mick. It’s one thing to do a step over and beat championship fullbacks but I think he might not get the opportunities in the Prem he gets here. Much though I personally rate him I think he needs longer with us. A move now could be too soon. Just my opinion.

I agree with that, although I do worry that the club is so desperate for money that they’ll take almost any offer. Only three games in but on the evidence of those, we have a chance of promotion, losing Fellows would be a big blow to those ambitions. Better off staying with the Albion and getting plenty of playing time rather than warming the bench for a tin pot club like Palace or Southampton.

I just read that WBA have no intention of selling him. That’s the clubs stance. Hopefully true.
