If someone comes in for Fellows……

Do we sell and if so for how much?

Considering the prices being paid for some really mediocre players ( in my opinion ) I think we need to stick a price in his head that wipes out our debt at least.

I’d be asking for £30m+ along with a 20% sell on clause.

I think there’s already an agreement to say he’s worth more than that and given the length of his contract, I think we can stick out for a fee that gets us back into profitability again.

That said, I hope he stays.

It would be great if the club could hold on to him and even better if he likewise wanted to stay.
If he wants to leave it has to be at a greatly inflated price, as we seem poor at getting top prices usually.
He looked the difference yesterday, even with just watching brief highlights. Nice to have a player that can turn a game with a bit of skill
I'd say keep, but with a big solid asking price.

He’s making too much of a difference to sell for me.

Surely if there is a serious bidder, given the expected fee we would not of played him yesterday ?
    I hope I’m right !

If Fellows were to leave at the right price we need to find a replacement just as good and for sure it’s not Wallace! Don’t think we would get more than 20 million as Jack Clarke just gone for 20 million and he’s only 23 and class - plus more proven than Fellows. Love Fellows so hope we keep him if we want promotion which in three games - the team have showed it’s possible!

I have no doubt that should he be sold, Wallace would indeed be his replacement !
I prefer to remain positive that he stays !

Depending on his buyout clause I would fix a deal with the caveat that he stays until the end of the season. There would have to be coverage for injuries etc but he would be motivated and we would get the benefit.

The best way to fix our current financial situation would be to win promotion this season; our chances of doing that will be reduced if we sell one of our best young talents that we have had for years. Do not sell.

I agree, ideally the option to loan him back this season and first refusal if he’s to be loaned out next season.

I don’t think we need to concern ourselves with what other players from other clubs such as Jack Clarke at Sunderland have been sold for, we are in the box seat with Fellows having a new four year contract.

He’s a rare talent, there are very few players who can have fullbacks on toast these days and he’s one of those few.

His cross for Grant and his pull back for Maja yesterday were out of the top drawer, absolutely inch perfect.

    The kid is magic.

I agree! Others know better though or who have contacts at the club 🤣
