It could be worse than that, they spend our money on fuelling death and destruction around the world, in the name of democracy (lol, start at home first). There are lines that each of us need to draw where we say "enough is enough" and when they are crossed we take non-violent action to resist our government abusing it's power and damaging our society, attacking those that are easy targets, like pensioners. Personally I don't think any of our pensioners should be the target, whether they work in a foodbank or have been lucky enough to have the time to play golf, we should respect our old and ensure they are looked after not have to worry about heating their homes or being stabbed to death whilst walking their dog.
I completely agree and didn’t mean what I wrot to come across that way.!

I've joined over 500,000 or so people who have signed the online petition asking Ms Rachel Reeves to think again about her plan to withdraw the Winter Fuel Allowance from many pensioners' pockets. Like many more people across the country, I've also emailed my local MP to question the Government's plan re the removal of the Winter Fuel Allowance from pensioners' pockets.
The Government are no better than pickpockets with regards to the Winter Fuel Allowance.
It will come back to bite them if they do not do a U turn on that despicable policy.

    Today's rant now over.

    Oop the Millers!

The chancellor has been campaigning to remove the WFA for 10 years .

Minimum living wage, just over £400 a week
Full pension about £220. A week.if you paid full NI for 35years. And you get no benefits.
Pay f all and get pension credits no council tax to pay etc etc worth another 3 grand a year.
No brainer really. Don't work and don't save.

Don't worry Ed Milliband has all the answers but unfortunately his crazy net zero policy will skint us all. The irony is all his windmill farms are coming from China who don't give a monkeys about climate change.

    Nothing to worry about here.

Just a W.E.F. puppet carrying out his instructions in order to transfer even more wealth away from those at the bottom of the pile to those at the top.

Get used to it. His October budget statement will be mind-blowing.

Why is it? That £60k might be the only wage in the household.

What’s net pay on £60k. Have you any real idea?

People see figures like £50k/£60k and believe that’s the actual money people receive.

    Bit of a joke really.

Who would have thought Kier Starlin would lie hey?
Remember the debate when Sunak who I have no time for either warned everyone he is lying.
Yep he was right Kier Starlin the man who basically told a pack of lies to appeal the dumb to achieve the desired outcome.
Working class values 🤣🤣🤣 voted for by delusional people.
