It won't need to be a poor performance to lose or not win this game, we are away to last season's 4th place side, a McInnes side who are in need of a win to kick-start their season

Like us under Levein and Houston, we'd sometimes start a season slow after another top 4 finish but ultimately would go on to repeat the feat comfortable once we got going late September early October, not saying that's what they will do but they are favs tomorrow, we've only just got promoted

Absolutely would take a point from it if offered, we can win it but will take a very good all round showing and another solid defensive display

I think there was a survey done on results on artificial pitches , like Killie and Livy's etc. and it really showed up where those teams bagged most of their points from. Stats don't lie ...seemingly.

One thing that gives me confidence is the quality of players we're taking down there this time and the strength we have available to come off the bench if needed.

I'd maybe take a point now, but I think if we go for it the 3 points is there for us. But we have to start creating more from open play and converting chances. I'm expecting at least 2 points from the next 2, 4 points would be a great couple of weeks.

    C'mon United 🧡

McInnes is a clever manager and is more than capable of out foxing JG. Our players are going to have to play well to get any kind of result. The ref might be crucial in this game! This is a game where we can't afford any brain farts!

I agree that DMc vs JG shouts home win.

Goodwin has improved as a manager since the Darvel/Sheepsville debacle.

I think most of us would like to see him mix it up a bit more in respect of offering an attacking threat. Goodwin is a bit too predictable, other managers are showing signs of knowing how to cope with us now. As such, it is Goodwin that has been forced to change the set up.

I'd like to see us spring a we surprise on the opposition with the starting line up/formation for a change.

100% agree. It's a balance between changing what made us resilient though. I bet he regrets not doing it against Motherwell in a one off cup game.
Think we might see a half way house tomorrow.
Crazy radical thinking here, if Moult won't play because of the surface why not start Dalby for 45.
Ask Trapanovski to feed him high and low, Babunski on the 18 yard line looking for the knock downs and defensive headers/clearances.
And we need a threat from the right because coaches are doubling up on Trapanovski now.

They won't be doubling up on him today, not even in the squad. Moult and Dalby up top.

Wonder if he's got a niggle?

    Looks like a 3-4-1-2
    Walton
    Adeboyega Gallagher Graham
    Stephenson Docherty Sibbald Ferry
    Babunski
    Moult Dalby
