    Killie (a)

Difficult game on paper but this one's on plastic

Are you keeping the side that finished the game at Fir Park or staying with the starting lineup that's made us hard to beat?

    Tough choices for the manager.

I would like finger oot and go for it!

But i expect it will be the tentative pish seen so far.

As for the team, i think Walton, Gallagher, Graham, Ferry and Doc are the only ones i would guarantee a starting berth, then maybe Babunski if played to his strengths!

I don't think we need to change too much after a narrow defeat to Sevco and then Motherwell away in cup where an individual error cost us at the death

Before that we'd won 3 in a row Vs prem opposition without conceding and probably should have won the two draws before

We need to not give anything away but at same time carry a threat so I'd go 3-5-2

They had Europe as distraction but now it's all about league for them, they have drawn the last two so will be looking for a home win to start a revival but pressure is on them to get that win

We need to take advantage of that and definitely not concede first

    Agree.
I'd be tempted to bring Holt back in v St Mirren for his aggression and height but v Killie I'd try to get the 3 points with this 352 (3412) Some good players get left out of any starting 11 now, a while since we've said that.

    Walton
    Adegboyega Gallagher Graham
    Stephenson Doc Sibbald Ferry
    ..............Babunski...
    ........Moult Trapanovski

Plenty options to change it if we're chasing the game.

Time we scored first and won again 🧡

Moult is worthy of a start as he's done well for us coming off the bench so far but I don't think he'll play on the astro☹️

I agree that Moult won't start on the plastic. Just our luck he would get crocked on that surface. Is this the last season of the plastic or do they get away with another year as well?

I'd make a number of changes. Keeper and defence stay the same personnel wise but a change to a back four. Midfield I'd go to four as well. With a central pairing up front.

    Walton

    Adegboyega Gallagher Graham Ferry

    Thomson Sevelj Docherty Middleton

    VDS Dalby

Might be harsh but the squad allows you to make changes when players are off form, credit here for Goodwin for building a squad with strength and depth. If you keep persisting with the same line-up and getting the same performances,............

Definitely can't be complaints if there are changes, Middleton,Moult and Dalby all pushing, Thomson must be too, Kai might get back in the picture

Babunski can't command a start all the time either

Traps can play central too as can Middleton so plenty options

The solid base though is the key thing

So I'd defo to with something like

    Walton
    Adeboyega Gallagher Graham
    Stephenson Docherty Sevelj Ferry
    Trapanowski
    VDS Moult

Did he not play on astro a couple of times last season? I seem to remember being surprised to see him starting away somewhere with that sh1tey nonsense surface.

Moult did play on the, #whatevertheycallitnow. But, there were concerns. Don't think he will start this match.

Not sure if he was taking the piss when having a chat we Faddy after a match , when he said, something like "you know I can't play on the plastic"
Hopefully, he was, he merits a start.

VDS is great at what he does, but there's nae point, without support .

I've got a sinking feeling this has all the makings of a classic dire away Killie performance and result. Id take draws from next away games, would be a good sign of consolidation in top flight, though one win would be better points wise.
