I'm generally ambivalent about Hugill but that performance today was appalling. Can't defend, can't stand up, can't pass but pretty good at picking up a decent wage!

Good game for the neutral but we should have been out of sight before they scored their 2nd.

Psss poor defence for their goals - i'd never play Huge hill again in a rotherham shirt - he is a complete waste of time effort and the stupid amount of money hes paid - he needs to go , pay off or what.

An embarrasment to us for a long time now - time to go as the song sez!!

I echo the previous. Tell Hughill he's not wanted and make preparations to be gone in January. Been draining our budget for far too long now. His returns have been appalling and is a shining example of why the recruitment dept was and is not fit for purpose and to promote the guy who spearheaded this is just not acceptable.

1st half I saw echos of SEs teams of old. Possession doesn't win football matches goals do and boy we looked dangerous today, including the last 20 minutes after that horror show of 25mins after half time.

Problem is and with reference to above. We haven't got Arnason we've McCart, we haven't got Morgan we've got Humphries, we haven't got Lee Camp we've got those 2 GKs who have nothing between them. We will never ever keep a clean sheet... Ever.

Today. 1st half we saw the difference between playing Direct and Hoofball... And there IS a difference. Players running at players or pinging into proper spaces to break lines with purpose, with an end game. We looked like we had a way of playing, an identity. More please.

Fearful that Hugebill will get starts now that JCH has a hammy injury?

I've spoken up for him before but where was Dawson when he was needed today?
Both our full backs were all at sea especially James.
Second half the midfield didn't exist.
The long ball down the middle came straight back at us.
Hugill. Not a footballer more like a prop forward.
But we scored three good goals.
I wish though we could pass and move like Peterborough. Just saying.

Spot on Tigerish. We have 2 poor flapper goalkeepers yet the manager constantly praises them. Today's possession stats are embarrassing - you don't win many games with these figures. Hugill should never wear a Rotherham shirt again and once again Odoffin looked lost in midfield. Wouldn't be offering him a new contract.

Peterborough have a wealth of riches on both flanks - remember wingers!? I'm not sure I'd be too critical of Dawson - he made a great save in the first half and the two Peterborough goals after halftime were compliments of Rafferty and Hugill. Dawson's distribution was great at times - he twice played excellent balls down the right flank to catch out the Boro defence - one led to Wilks' goal.

I was disappointed in James who, till now, has looked very composed at LB. But today he was all at sea and I suggest it was down to the quality of their right winger.

On reflection, I would have taken a point before the game, so I'm content with the outcome. Afterall, we don't want to peak too early!!

As for the rest of it. We're lacking in Goal and we are lacking some spark in the middle.

Haks for me would be better placed in the rear.
Exactly my thoughts after watching the game pay Hugill contract up & get shut in January.

A game that showed what is good and poor about our mix of players and our manager. 3-1 up at half time and, had we held them at that for another 45 minutes, everybody would be singing the praises of Evans and the team. We didn't and Ferguson found a way to expose our weaknesses. Give him credit for that.

We seemed not to have a clue how to respond to the change in circumstances and hold on to a lead. That is partly down to the way the team has largely been thrown together and is still apparently learning how to play as a team. It was the first time they found themselves in a commanding lead and had no tactics to deal with the evolving circumstances.

And that has to be a glaring weakness one can lay firmly at Evans's feet. Presumably he had no game plan for playing out a second half from a comfortable winning position against a capable side that were obviously well-marshaled during the half time break. OK, he wasn't expecting to be in that position but pretty shocking that he couldn't manage a tactical response for the circumstances he found himself in.

First half gave me hope for the future. The second half was further evidence that this is a collection of individuals who still have a lot to do to be called a team and who struggle with Evans's seat of the pants management style.
