No to Vickers back. Phillips will have to make way for a new keeper. In the advertiser today saying the future of our 3 loan players is under discussion we have an option to send them back in January. I'd take that option with Hungbo & Osong & return them to their parent clubs.

No. no. no Hungbo is the only decent left winger at the club, the Osong situation doesn't sit right, my guess is SE will send him back he will go to another L1 club and bang in goals for them, SE is not a manager for young players. I think the situation is this, TS has told SE that the extra investment that was agreed at the beginning of the season is now off the table and that is purely because TS knows we are not going up.
He does know that change is required just to give us a chance of not going down so he has told Evans that the budget stays the same but he can swap loan players, add loan players if U21, bring in uncontracted players or replace anyone he sells. The money earned from previous sales has gone on wages already. TS knows he has to give Evans something but in the back of his mind he doesn't think Evans will be here in May he is hoping that he is wrong and they can then invest a bit more in the summer.
The big factor for us in January is getting Hugill out and hoping we don't have to pay a large sum to do that, remember that Hugills wage would cover 3 other l1 players or loans, it will all be about the cost of disposal.

Don't rate Hungbo at all looks like a footballer till he gets on the pitch! He's not a wide player at Huddersfield played on the right cutting inside we've got Wilkes doing that. Agree Hugill get shut in January.

Can't see Hugill going anywhere, he's on a good thing at the NYS.
Only way to move him on is TS agreeing a deal to a payout to buy up his contract.

    I hear there's a player called Salah at L'pool who hasn't been offered/signed a new contract.

We could offer Hugill as part of a deal, but it might mean us having to break our record transfer.

Agree on the Keeper front - I'd be happy to see a Premiere League youngers come in along as we have done before.

Priority area has to be midfield - I would try to sell Tiehi, Oddofin, Bramhall and Humphries to fund 3 or 4 midfielders. I would also return Hungbo and Osong - they are no better than what we already have in the youth department.

Everyone will want another forward but I am not sure budget will go that far unless we can move out the 4 mentioned above and Hughill. If Uncle Tony is willing then Jatta at Nott County would be worth a gamble.

NWC,Honest question. The four players you mentioned above, who do you think we can replace them with better & get them to come to a struggling L1 team.

I can?t offer you a list but I will tell you this - there will be plenty willing to come for the wages we could offer if those 4 were off the books. Losing them isn?t an issue - they don?t want to be here anyway

Ah, so there will be plenty wanting to come for the money but they may not be better than the players they're replacing.
    Sounds like a plan.
