January 2025 Transfer Window - Wish List

January 2025 Transfer Window - Wish List

Name a player you would like to see sign for the Millers, whether loan,
    permanent or short contract

I would like to see -

Josh Vickers - Not number one at Derby County, could he be prised away with
the chance of being number for the Millers, whether loan or permanent.

Joe Gelhardt - The 22 year old forward, not getting game time at Leeds United,
Leeds don't want him to go to a championship club on loan, so perhaps a chance
loan signing for the Millers, the player wants to go out on loan.

Wishing for a fat man with a white beard to come down your chimney would be much more productive. I doubt we'll be signing anyone.

(PS The one game I saw Josh Vickers play this year he made our current pair of clowns look like Gordon Banks in his heyday).

Why would Derby let their number two goalkeeper go? They?d then be forced to have to find another.

Also Vickers has a recurring injury problem meaning he is unlikely to be fit to play week in week out for a full season. He proved this with us and Derby which is why hardly ever puts a long run of games together and seems happy to be a number two keeper. Great on his day but best left where he is.

He did well for the Millers, then injured his hand, I would not rule him out.

Two players I mentioned - Josh Vickers 29 year-old & Joe Gelhardt 22 years old.

I understand where you coming from, with some of the players signed this season & before.

I agree but evans isn't a manager for young players, if they make one mistake or have a poor game he gives up on them.

What makes you think Mr Evans is about to offload one of our goalkeepers.
I doubt that's going to happen.

Joe Gelhardt is rumoured to be going up to Scotland, loan deal with Rangers.
Besides I doubt JG would get enough game time with us with Evans love child JCH first choice.

    Save what money.?
    We don't have any money.
A big % of the budget has been spaffed on decent League 1 salaries.
A couple out before a couple in suggests it's balancing the books.
Hope we're not writing the season off as early as the end of January.
