This has come at the perfect time!

I had an eye on this an assumed they'd be on the up by now.

Funny looking at the table earlier. Last week we were 1 place and 1 point above them in 12th.

    Today, 27th 1600.

Newcastle United are 5th on 29points, 6points behind Chelsea in 2nd.

Manchester United are 14th on 22points, 8 points off relegation threatened Leicester City in 17th.

Merry Christmas one and all on Tyneside and across the world.

On to the swamp and a conquering 3 points please Eddie Howe's B&W Army!

Its comedy gold reading the Man Yoo fans right now. Noone is predicting them a win. Spurs are struggling with injuries. Fully expecting two 3 nils here,...but this is NUFC I know.

Man Yoo are in big trouble I can see Amorim walking away next year, its that bad.

Quite remarkable to see the whole (available) squad to come to perfect fitness at the most important and busiest period of the season.

Almost like we've developed our long term, season length you might suggest, squad 'performance' due to bringing in a specialist.

    5th lads! Wicked!

And its not stopping here. Botman is back soon and as long as we stay fit then top 4 and a cup is very possible.

We are playing like I thought we would right now but as a caveat I admit the opposition for 3 of the last 4 has been weak but you'd think we are on the beginning of a run. Cant see Forest staying where they are.

    Depth is our issue.

We lose Isak or Schar or Bruno or Hall and we are a weaker team.

Botman coming back is a great shot in the arm, but odds are we?ll see at least 1 or 2 injuries to key players, and as it stands that will hurt us.

We?ve got some cover for midfield, but any stand in is a drop in quality? Willock, Miley or Longstaff is a big drop from Bruno, Joelinton and Tonali.

Ironically, LW is probably our strongest spot with Barnes just waiting to come in? other than that? I can?t think of a single stand in that is near as damn it same level?

Still just over half a season to go, fingers crossed but talk of top 4 is massively getting ahead of ourselves? really we should be in the Top 4 now, but we failed against Palace and West Ham? easy wins against Ipswich and Leicester means those easy games are out of the way for a bit now? table changed for us quickly, can happen again? so softly softly catchy monkey.

Could we use that bribe towards PSR, though?

If you were among the favoured six it would be no problem.
