They have lost again tonight and Fernandes was sent off so won’t be playing against us on New Year’s Eve

    Mon night isn?t NYE 😉

Great result, two minds on the red card, would like to see again? my memory is telling me his leg came down straight, which to me would indicate a foul as would be more of an axe kick than a natural way for his leg to fall, but Rogers deserved a yellow for simulation? utterly pathetic and I?d probably laugh if he catches an injury from karma express in the near future.

If we can beat Man Utd and then Spurs away, that?s got to be supported in the transfer window with a first team right winger, and with Botman back soon and Tonali surely cementing his starting spot over Longstaff? I think we could push on for a European football spot.

I?d rather there?d been no red card question at all, and we?d beaten 11? would feel better and more confident about us moving forward, but 3 points, our GD looks good again? please god let us smash the manc?s on Monday 🤣

No Ugarte either as he's picked up his 5th yellow.

Will probably be Casemiro and Mainoo in midde against. . . Casemiro is a good, was great (maybe still) player but his legs are gone compared to our midfield 3.

The red was soft as there wasn't a lot of contact but you can see from the view from behind that he actually moved his right leg in a little before the contact.

    Incredibly dumb...but a red.

Rogers reaction was as bad as that Southampton twat.

I dont want to be kill the party, but I cant see us win at OT. They are shoite, but Amorim will pull them together and they will play for their lives.

I can see Man U win, maybe a draw.

This season, everybody beats everybody (except Liverpool). We cant go on winning and winning, there has to be a loss soon.

So its that logic, and the fact that it is OT.

That said, I understand the optimism, and I really hope I'm wrong.

    Happy Christmas, Viking.

I know what you mean-law of averages and all that but with two of their key midfielders out and our respective form, we've got a much better chance than we usually do.

This has come at the perfect time!

I had an eye on this an assumed they'd be on the up by now.

Funny looking at the table earlier. Last week we were 1 place and 1 point above them in 12th.

    Today, 27th 1600.

Newcastle United are 5th on 29points, 6points behind Chelsea in 2nd.

Manchester United are 14th on 22points, 8 points off relegation threatened Leicester City in 17th.

Merry Christmas one and all on Tyneside and across the world.

On to the swamp and a conquering 3 points please Eddie Howe's B&W Army!

Its comedy gold reading the Man Yoo fans right now. Noone is predicting them a win. Spurs are struggling with injuries. Fully expecting two 3 nils here,...but this is NUFC I know.

Man Yoo are in big trouble I can see Amorim walking away next year, its that bad.
