The home performances certainly haven't been a patch on what we used to see under Luke Williams. The entertainment value, particularly since the turn of the year, has been really poor. In possession we play at a frustratingly slow pace and the number of backwards and sideways passes is just infuriating. The only time we really look exciting and actually put some pace into our play is when we lose the ball, win it back and then break away down the field.
Whatever the remaining results this season, and wherever it may take us, I would be surprised if the owners aren't concerned about the performances and the entertainment value, because we're a tough watch most of the time, and that isn't going to keep bums on seats forever.
Please Reedtz the club is dying a death of a thousand cuts. We lack passion, quality,a will to win and above all any entertainment value. If you can't see that you are either 1) Not attending games, 2 ) Lost all interest or 3 ) Deluded.
We're going to score one more than you ! Vindaloo..!!
He wants his tummy tickled bless
Death by a thousand cuts?
We're on course for our highest finish since the Reedtz took over, in fact since 2017/18. We could even get promoted. The brothers regularly attend games - I saw at least one of them yesterday - and have repeatedly assured fans they are in this for the long haul.
I'll agree that the entertainment value this year hasn't been a patch on what we saw from Luke Williams' teams, which does irritate me, and I think that will be something the owners will want to see improve, but results over the season have still put us up there in promotion contention.
