any reason? Literally one of the best run clubs in the league. Two of our previous manager's have moved to higher up clubs, we have a decent fanbase and solid infastructure, selling players for profit and playing progressive attacking football (apart from the latter Maynard days).

There will be a lot of interest, but they'll have their own methods and characteristics they'll want to hire on.

**Serious question, not a wind up!**

Is the apparent panic and anger on here today based on anything someone's heard about the state of the club having changed? Does someone know something worrying or is it just based on the transfers so far and the slow coaching team announcement? There seems to be a 'more than usually fraught' atmosphere on here today from a few. (Maybe it's just the warm weather?)

I think the new manager has already been sorted but we aren't able to announce it yet for some reason. It's the only story that fits for me. There's was a hint that this might be the case in previous comms from the club.

The owners aren't stupid, if they couldn't find someone, there would have put out holding comms to allay concerns. Something along the lines of 'we continue our search to appoint the right coaching team. It's an important decision we want to get right and will take time blah blah blah '. The fact they've said nothing makes me more convinced it's all done.

Just don't buy the 'no-one wants us' theory. There are so many out of work managers/coaches and we're an attractive proposition; whatever supporters think of the coaching structure, there would have been plenty of appointable candidates.

Tbh I think it's because we've now been without a manager/head coach for 26 days now and it just on the face of it appears a bit bizarre and we've not really heard of anyone having an interview.
Nothing more to it than that really.

I think some maybe panic earlier than others. I personally think the HC is sorted. I agree the signings aren?t massively overwhelming but who knows they all could work out.
I don?t buy this 12th best budget thing after we?ve just sacked a manager for coming 6th after a lot of injuries saying he was underperforming with the squad quality as it makes no sense if we had a mid table budget.
I always like to keep my powder dry, firstly see what more signings there are and who?s the HC and that might give an idea but really till we play 10 or so games it?s hard to really know how the season might pan out.

For me it's the transfers so far. They are massively disappointing. The wait for a HC isn't ideal but i trust the brothers to deliver in the same way that they have delivered a new training ground and put in place an interesting pre season tour.

The arrival of Gagliardi grates a bit because until now he has been faceless. He hasn't done any media, we've had no photos, nothing at all from the club regarding his arrival, ethos or plans. Yet he has been trusted to move for players on our behalf and has signed some very underwhelming ones to kick off his reign. This on top of reports from fans of his other clubs that he was responsible for signing some right duds.

I don't like being negative, especially in close season when we should be feeling optimistic about next year...but the Comms from the club are uncharacteristically poor at the moment. Just what is the plan?
