So just to get this straight:

So just to get this straight:

    1. We were given an actual honest penalty and we actually scored it.
    2. We just beat Man City after being 1 down in the first 25 seconds with a large amount of our first team injured.
    3. We have supposedly just broken our transfer record on a player we were actually linked with.
    4. We are getting an honest to god left back in.
    5. Rafa is odds on to sign a new contract.

Should I expect a takeover announcement tonight to really round out the impossible events of today?!

Someone has just put this up on facebook - Thought it good for a chuckle, well made me laugh anyway.

Although, just to bring us back to earth a tiny bit this was game 150 without an opponent being sent off and after that absolute bottle job on deBruyne you can see why.

    Aye.

It should of been a yellow, no doubt. That yellow would of meant a red and of course can't do that to City can you . . .

However, if that had happened they'd of changed how they played so we might not have got a 2nd

    True enough.

And, much as it benefited us, two wrongs don't make a right and he should have sent Perez off.

John Anderson pointed out on the radio that had De Bruyne been sent off, then Perez wouldnt have had him to foul

Oh, aye...we were saying that. Plus, I reckon there was a lot of frustration from that shocking decision in that foul.
