    They scrapped the minimum wage, agents got involved, players demanded silly wages( some still do) and some Chairmen will pay it, and the snowball gets faster.

    Like ELK says we were run by the Pursehouse family who ran a string of butchers, cash wise they wouldn't be able to run Popeye's now.

    Players turned Professional instead of working at Silverwood pit.

    Yes it's a game that has lost its soul. Just look at Man United. Season ticket holders who've had seats for years told they can get lost so that some corporate client can get the best view. It's horrible. The genuine fan doesn't really count any more
