Wind and heavy showers forecast, hopefully not affecting the match.
As you say plenty of cover in the squad now, depending how quickly the new players can get up to speed.
Looking forward to the match after three weeks without a home game.

    Swansea 2 (Vipotnik 40’, Ronald 57’) - Hull 2 (McBurnie 45’, Egan 97’)
Three ex-Swans in the Hull line-up, Ollie McBurnie, Kyle Joseph and Kasey Palmer.
Poor defending for both Hull’s goals coming at the end of each half, this after Swans taking the lead twice.
We were back to our old ways as we panicked every time the ball was crossed into our box. Hull were no great shakes until their subs turned the game and they could have had more goals but for Vigouroux.
The inevitable goal by an ex-Swan was scored by McBurnie. Some puzzling substitutions, Cullen for Yalcouye, Eom for Inoussa. Vipotnik scored again but was subbed off for Idah who made an unimpressive debut.
Its back to the training ground to sort it out I’m afraid.

Bit of an off day today boys, defence unusually poor and wide open on the wings. We were okay until we got to the final third but overhit or under hit crosses and overplay with passes instead of incisiveness cost us. They targeted our right hand side and Key was in out of position and no mans land for the cross for their equaliser and first goal.
Their second equaliser with seconds remaining was again poor defending, another cross into the box, panic stations and we conceded.
Defending has been Sheehans forte since taking over but today we were a shambles.

Hull played with a high press and were in our faces giving us no time for our passing game. They worked harder than us and were over robust in their play which the ref surprisingly went along with. Hull were unimpressive until their subs changed the game and we mistakenly tried to consolidate our lead instead of going for the third goal. Our defensive errors cost us two points.

I know he’s only just joined us but we missed Stamenic’s heighth and defensive qualities that he was so good at in the Sheffield Wednesday win.

Shame we didn’t get all the points yesterday as it would have put us in fifth place behind Leicester only on goal difference.
It could prove costly at the end of the season.
Fulton would have been handy to come on with some muscle to shore up the defence at the end when we were under pressure.
