Thread: A Leodensian view of the Loidis Tribe v Boscombe Vegas - Saturday scrimmage.

There is way too much overreach in what sports associations seek to regulate when there are already good legal regimes in place
Which the associations seek to cut across or avoid.

The rules are largely about protecting interests and money and not about the average fan.

Interesting side note - when the IPL was set up the tv revenue share for clubs is in part based on how full the grounds are.

As a result a lot of the tickets are simply offered at very low or given away to ensure a full ground and max tv revenue.

...... if its adopted in the Championship it should also be introduced in League One and League Two as there is resistance from clubs lower down the football pyramid now since the National League is continuing to push for a three-up and three-down promotion system which the EFL has so far rejected until now depending on final decision.........

....... do they indeed have a valid point in extending the Championship format and will it bring in more competition down the leagues system ?
And the Premier League clubs would all sign up to a proposal that would increase by 50% the number of clubs relegated to the Championship??

You seen turkeys voting for Christmas lately?

The government should stick to its core purpose for the country as a whole too - it has bigger issues to deal with rather than meddling with football rules.

The PL was formed for a reason too - the FA and the FL were seen as out of touch and incapable of allowing the top clubs to achieve their goals so the PL was created.

Shaun Harvey and his ilk - would you trust them to manage their way out of a paper bag?
