Our Logan who is 7 is raising money for the foundation via his school, so far he has raised ?85 including our ?20 .
Next week he having a penalty shootout with Baggie bird
Mixed feelings. I think it?s a scandalous outcome and the EFL know it. But we are highly unlikely to go down.
I think I am right in saying we have 14 days to appeal. By then we will know if we even need to or not.
David Piesing said Albion made EFL awear of Lai's loans , but the EFl seem to to have lost the e mails ( bit like Morgan having his phone stolen)
Well any way David Piesing has copy's of the said E mails .
The interest payments for the loans would have appeared season after season in the figures so it's not that in itself which has caught us out. Its the EFL changing the rules earlier this year AFTER the accountes were submitted. Fuc* Wits they are.
How on earth are you meant to manage the clubs finances and conform to their rules when they change them.
The goals difference is 6 which means if we lose 2 games by a goal and Oxford win 2 games by a goal its just 2 goals which we could concede against Ipswich or Oxford could score against Sheff Wed.
Just checked and we have a goals for of plus 6 on Oxford so that would also come into play.
I don't expect the miracle of Oxford staying up, I don't think they do either.
I am just angry.
If ever a topic should make supporters post on a forum its this, surely.
Absolutely scandalous on two points-1)that the accounts were submitted in December and yet it's taken until now for the EFL to announce their decision regarding a points deduction and 2) that the breach seems to be due to a change in the rules regarding the immunity of community investment via the Albion Foundation. Small wonder the club and fans are fuming!
In the meantime, cool heads need to prevail and, as Morrison said in his last post match interview, he and the players need to do their talking on the pitch and aim to get as many points as we can from our last two games. Do that and we will survive which is the most important thing and f u ck the idiots at the EFL who have caused all this 😡
Apparently the club have decided not to appeal the EFL points deduction and accept the 2 points deduction. Probably best to let it go now and concentrate on next season.

The link has a further link to a 69 page document explaining it in detail.
If anyone wants to read it all and provide a summary, that would be great. :-)

I did have a read of the document before I fell asleep and it seems the interest on the loan payments seem to have been the problem and the loan is not yet serviced so will hamper us next season.
Seems the Southampton controversy is more interesting
