Im increasingly thinking he’ll sign on.
If what you say is true, then the club is doing all it can

    I hope you are correct.

Me too. One of the few pre/post Gothenburg players who i think might have got into that team. Never anything less than his absolute max given in AFC colours.

Here’s a good one for you to decide...Graeme Shinnie or Jim Bett?

Rubbish, he would have been nowhere near that team.

Fair comment. I think though he could have fitted into either Neil S or Neale C's positions as an industrious midfielder too though. I know this is sacriligous though to suggest anyone could replace anyone in that team (apart from that c**t McGhee).

In fairness McGhee as a player did a tremendous job for us and put himself in positions with risk of serious injury in order to get goals. Many players of today would have went down looking for a foul rather than battering on to put "that" cross in for "that" goal.
Much as they were great players it was the sum of the team rather than individuals that elevated them to greatness.

Nae in his current position.....but Shinnie is one helluva left back.
    Big Doug........converted centre half.
Spammer .........left midfielder, either left of a three (with Weir ahead) or left of the middle two in a four.

It's a wholly "apples/oranges" debate, but, for me (an old fart who was there) it's by no means outrageous to suggest Shinnie could've played left back in that team.

    He also has Fergie's mentality.
As a midfielder........ nae in a million years.
