I don't have a problem with the player himself...he seems canny...but Parish and Guehi's agents must be smarting right now.

No doubt the whole saga of the summer has had a massive damaging effect on him & his subsequent performances. It's such a bizarre thing to watch, how the momentum and psychology of a player's career can completely derail in such a manner.
In a small way I feel sorry for him, as much as I can for an opponent's player, however, for Parish and Palace I'm delighted that their £70m asset is now worth about 1/5th of that nonsense figure Rubber face was demanding.

I think the transfer speculation has messed up Guehi.
I definitely believe he could do a decent job for us but not for 70 million.
The rumour mill suggests he was waiting for a move to Liverpool or hoping for Liverpool to come for him.
In my personal opinion, I'd rather we left him alone and pursued other avenues unless we got him for half the price.
