The rest of the time they were playing to Bedeu and Macari to pass to Jarvis and Gordon who was already marked at that point so it was wasted.

This should have pointed out that having wingers on would have helped so switch to a back four and play out and out wingers but he changed nothing and low and behold, we go two nil down and he finally changes it and it starts to work. Why not make the change at half time?

We play "safe" yet immediately a loose pass after what must have been 90+% possession leads to a goal against.

When was you last entertained at a Notts match? Honestly can you tell me because it's boring pedestrian football
We don?t really have natural wingers only Jarvis I suppose I think we have an inflexible squad with not much pace in it and the bloke who overseen that had cleared off to Wales.

I think we play better away maybe as teams go at us and we played really well at MK Dons and Cheltenham win both I thought first half against Walsall at ML we were very good but we lost that match but we played well imo.

I'm usually quite level headed about things and try not to join in with any meltdowns but I couldn't help but feel last night was a new low performance wise this season, especially at home, and I left feeling extremely frustrated.

We've all bemoaned the high volume of injuries this season and it's obvious that a fit Didzy or a Dan Crowley in the team last night and it would have been a different game. Thing is we and the coaching team have been able to rely on this.

Biggest frustration for me is Jarvis, trying to understand why a player I have actually scouted, who ripped the Irish Prem a new 4rse, looks so ineffective. Unfortunately it seems someone thought they could turn an exciting, young wide forward/winger into a wingback and it's just not his game. Players like him, Jarvis, Traore and even Jatta need the ball playing in front of them but they are continuously being asked to play with their backs to goal, it's ludicrous.

I'm not giving up on a top 3 finish just yet, get that intensity and desire back and we should be right in the mix, even with 4 very difficult looking games on the horizon. However, should we succeed the Bros have some very difficult decisions ahead of them because at the moment we have a squad with maybe only a few players that would be able to step up a level, and one of those isn't even our player.

Last night was utter bobbins, so much so I turned off, but I do find it interesting just about every team in this league - maybe not Bradford, but including Walsall - has a significant number of supporters calling for a change of manager.

When Jarvis went off (being injured for a good 5 mins before hand) he bought on Grant when Tsaroulla was the perfect candidate.

He doesn't have a clue as to how best utilise the squad at his disposal
Grant did score a good goal though only 7 minutes after coming on, playing that left wing role.

Its clear the recruitment hasnt been great too many injury prone players bought which piles pressure on the others.

He played an 11 that most would say was our best maybe not Jarvis so it cant all but put on one person.

Its a collective effort and maybe we arent as good as people think we are you are not guilty of this but ive seen some suggest "We are best team in league" which imo we arent.
We dont have any natural wing backs. All we do is to convert players into that position, and it clearly doesn't work. Jarvis for example came to us as an attacking wide player, we have now removed all of those qualities by trying to convert him into a wing back. Like Nemane before, him he cannot defend, so why the **ck do we keep on with this ridiculous tactic..
This wingback system clearly doesn't work for us. We have gone from an attack minded team into slow laborious bunch of crap, orchestrated by a complete idiot..

We do have wing backs from Crawley but both are crap.

Yes but remember that attack minded team was also led by another complete idiot right ?,
    😂

Maynard isn?t an idiot it?s insulting to say it really when you would have zero clue yourself if in the dugout the fact is we just aren?t that good.

It?s got to the stage now with some fans if we don?t get promoted then head coach should be sacked it?s no wonder managers/players leave if they get a better offer you are only a month or so away from being labelled useless or an idiot I?d do the same in their shoes too it?s only a job to them.

I think one of the biggest problems we have is the Playoff win against Borehamwood. During that game we kept on doing what we had been doing all game and most of the season and we finally got the goal we needed. How many times though have the team kept on doing what has failed to get a result and it has failed to get a result. Far more often it has failed than it has got us what we need.

Now we are playing slow predictable football, and the mentality seems to be that doing the same thing for the whole match got us a result on that one big occasion. You can see several players have given up, Jatta is the most obvious example. There are so many times where we watch them going in at the end of a dire first half knowing that something has to change but also knowing Maynard will not change anything.

The first step in fixing a problem is knowing there is a problem and the guy does not seem to be aware we have a problem. We need to get rid of him, but who would we get in to replace him and more immediately who would be the caretaker if we did get rid.

We currently sit in a very good position, 3 points off 3rd with a game in hand. Clearly recent performances have been, at best, disappointing. The reality though is that if we manage to win on Saturday things will look a whole lot rosier than they do today. IMO we need to keep the faith, not debate sacking the head coach every time we don't play like League Two's answer to prime Barcelona.

Agree he isn?t get sacked this season, we all know he isn?t Pep and the squad has deficiencies. It?s L2 football, there was a similar meltdown after Salford then we go on a crazy run, this is L2.
I agree he needs to find something else at home but I?m personally worried he hasn?t got the personal to break down teams.
If you watched Man City in their pomp, at times their build up was slow and pedestrian against low block teams but suddenly a player or two found a way to open a team up and score after constant possession and that then opened up opposition to come out, we?re just not doing that.
When I saw that team sheet I was only excited attacking wise by Traore starting and that was pretty short lived.
