Leaders. We're lacking leaders. I don't mean players who are 6ft and abuse everyone in sight. But players who have the courage to try something out of the ordinary - think Bostock or Crowley. We're still without McGoldrick and "minor setback" sounds like PR to me with regards to Jones so I don't know who will step up in the meantime but something needs adjusting.

Too many happy to stick to the plan and just keep the ball without any penetration.

With regards to Maynard it reeks of the same lethargy and staleness that saw last season fizzle out by April. A coach's role is to get the best out of the players (see Chicksen under Williams) he's been given and I'm sorry to say but if the only way he can produce results is with everyone fit then he needs to step aside.

We have 12 games left to rescue our season, keeping him would all but end our chances of promotion. Attendances are dropping, fans have had enough of watching this boring drivel every home game. Get him out now whilst we still have a chance of the 3rd promotion place..
This is where I?m at. Get someone in, kick them up the ar$e and grab the last 12 games (or more) by the scruff of the neck - that may or may not result in promotion but at least it?ll give us a fighting chance.

Keeping him is terminal to our chances but I feel our unambitious owners will do exactly that as we fester for another season and crowds plummet.

Chicksen under Williams was a delight in non league and average in L2. But he did get the best out of him. He definitely did not get the best out of Baldwin who is doing fantastic things at Bradford. Managers are chalk and cheese at this level. Maynard won't manage much higher, Williams reached his zenith at Swansea is my prediction. Football Radar is about "value" and getting the best out of not a lot. There will be negative vibes if we do not push on next season but I reckon we will. Year too early. Under Maynard? Not sure.

He has neither the squad nor the 100% promotion intent from the board (yes I know, stability, the plan, good owners). And I think his inexperience is beginning to show in how he deals with the crap hand he has been dealt. Unless DM, JJ. SA come back soon, and come back able to see the season out, there is very little chance of promotion although we may cling on to PO's.

He's not good enough. He waited until we were two nil down to switch formation. It was obvious in the first half we needed to go four at the back and play out and out wingers.

When Jarvis went off (being injured for a good 5 mins before hand) he bought on Grant when Tsaroulla was the perfect candidate.

He doesn't have a clue as to how best utilise the squad at his disposal

I honestly think to a few games ago he?d done pretty well with a lot of injuries to get us where we were.
Now Didzy is out and JJ still out and Crowley not replaced with anyone showing anything I think he?s got a tough hand.
If he does get us in the top 3 now I think he should be applauded by everyone. Playoffs feels the natural position now for this squad and anything lower and I think he?s failed and will probably go.
Just got to enjoy the season, results went our way last night which shows most teams are in the same boat as us

We cant do that though as the recruitment is geared towards a back 3 and wing backs.

Its clear the recruitment hasnt been great too many injury prone players bought which piles pressure on the others.

He played an 11 that most would say was our best maybe not Jarvis so it cant all but put on one person.

Its a collective effort and maybe we arent as good as people think we are you are not guilty of this but ive seen some suggest "We are best team in league" which imo we arent.

People keep saying this but what should he do ?

Everyone said Johnson, Edwards and Grant needed dropping he has done that, take a look at the bench last night who really deserves to start ??

This is the issue with the model fans have gone after Maynard as I knew they would when he didnt put the squad together he is head coach not manager.

My issue has always been players recruitment questions should be directed at Montague/replacement like in Europe.

How would people like it at work if something out of your control went wrong and you took all the blame ? I know they know the job but its getting a joke every game he doesnt win he should be sacked.

I think sine of our fans have got too entitled ever since the Wrexham battles.

I don?t think it?s really an issue of personnel or formations, we just don?t seem able to play with any intensity or intent at home, and haven?t all season. Including when Jones, Crowley and McGoldrick were all here and available. We?re more likely to win with them, obviously, but the same issues were there.

It stems right back to the opening home game against Fleetwood, when we were as flat as a pancake for most of it before rallying to rescue a point right at the end.

It was obvious from the first half the way he had them play was stupid. I think the ball went into Traore and Jatta twice through the middle, they immediately offloaded to the wing and a cross then came in and we looked dangerous. The rest of the time they were playing to Bedeu and Macari to pass to Jarvis and Gordon who was already marked at that point so it was wasted.

This should have pointed out that having wingers on would have helped so switch to a back four and play out and out wingers but he changed nothing and low and behold, we go two nil down and he finally changes it and it starts to work. Why not make the change at half time?

We play "safe" yet immediately a loose pass after what must have been 90+% possession leads to a goal against.

When was you last entertained at a Notts match? Honestly can you tell me because it's boring pedestrian football
