Well I guess it's been awhile so not a surprise, 28th December by all accounts.
Par for the course, we're all p***ed off when we lose. Some show it by attacking, some by hiding and some by looking forward to the next opportunity to hope for 3 points. Each to their own

Exactly what I've just said, but you took far fewer words!

I had to as I only have a few left. Need to get to the local wordsmith's on Monday to stock up. I'm also almost completely out of Zs. Hope I can get some later tonight

After watching that I'm a bit short of Fs, Us, Cs and Ks. I'll hold off before stocking up, hopefully I won't need them on Tuesday.

It's not always about losing. It's the manner of the performances on a regular basis that gripes a lot of us. Been backed to the hilt since being here & still leaves a lot to be desired

Exactly, the manner of the performances, has been the same dire defensive trash, masked by fortunate wins against poor outfits, but as today as shown , and time after time over the last 2 and half years, when a team comes with a plan, presses and attacks us, we offer no reply ...

At last, he's surfaced! No silly names or hashtags, just a smiley face. Awful defeat, and I know I will leave myself open to the usual 'obsession' charges, but this thread does give me a perfect opportunity to illustrate how football messageboards work. A defeat brings out the more negative posters, and those who criticise negativity tend go into hiding. A win does the exact opposite. So where have you been laddo? After a win you have often posted things like "Where's Davy", "Where's Pedro" etc. If we had scored a couple of late goals today and won everyone knows you would be all over the match thread like a rash, painstakingly and mockingly highlighting every single post that was critical when we went a goal down (or were losing 1-1 to nick your phrase). I'm sure you can offer a reason for your absence, maybe the new series of Strictly has started for all I know. You don't need to. It's the way boards like this work and you're exactly the same as the ones you criticise, just the other side of the coin! The sooner you accept that the better for all concerned.

    This is true
To honest i am pissed of today that we did not win, to some extent the damage was partially limited by torquays defeat
the silver lining, is not having to listen to the Ardley brigade blowing their horns, and coming out with complete fantasy nonsense, ie that is the best we have ever played bla bla

You do talk some *******s Davy. They feel exactly the same about your posts, only the other way round. It is how footie boards work, as Elite keeps explaining to anyone who'll listen

Bugger, that's more words used up.
