United had higher average attendances than Dundee in 68/69, 69/70, 70/71 and from 76 onwards (source Roar of the Crowd David Ross). The start of the transition in United emerging as the bigger team happened earlier than Dundee fans care to remember. Over the whole period from mid 60s to mid 70s there wasn't that much difference between the 2 averages. Then we took over and rule the city.
Arab777 Lifelong United supporter. Age late 50's. Attended first match 1972.
Canna be many left who would remember Dundee as the big team in the city.
Dodetap1 age mid 60s, took to first game by my dad in mid 60s - beat Aberdeen - and my grandad went to see Dundee Hibs in the 20s
Proud moment on 1/3/2025 when my great-grandson was the 6th generation of the family to be given a United strip for his birthday
Does that board that Valentke post's on have Masonic connotations?,i only ask this as he is credited with being a Grand Master.
Hiya boys hiya
Where were they all today, smaller allocation than we get at dens yet a couple hundred empty seats in the fair play upper and another couple hundred empty in the JK
A lot of them missed the first win in 20 years at Tannadice

We had to buy our tickets through you guys , and by yesterday afternoon United site said sold out , which obviously was not correct I saw lots of empty seats , United have pervious for putting up sold out signs when it’s not , must be something wrong with your ticketing system
