There needs to be a reckoning after this from the owners, management and players, because this season is going horribly wrong and things have happened in the past couple of games that are simply totally unacceptable. The warning signs were there from Torquay onwards. I like IB a lot, but this is starting to look like Amateur Hour.
I don't think you are being melodramatic. Conceding four goals against Woking at home was the most amount of goals we have conceded at this level thus far in a normal league game and that is against a club that has only just become full time. Conceding three of those goals against Woking in an 8 minute period and again conceding three goals in a twenty minute period today (against ten men to add insult to injury) both at the end of the game is amateurish. You could understand it if we were playing in a cup game against premier league or championship opposition or even a league one team at a push and had given our all and were tired and exhausted. But we are talking about the fifth tier and step 1 of the non-league pyramid. We should and are supposed to be way better than that.

It's the curse of playing York pre-season again that's come back to haunt us. The warning signs were there last season and they were there again this season.

For about 15 mins after half time we were decent and looked the better team. Apart from that we didn't.

This squad is reminding me of the one that started the spiral towards this league. A lot of pretty tippy tappy footballers that don’t have the heart for the battle.
Some go on about JoB. He isn’t the hard tackling, no nonsense player required at this level.
Football is a simple game. Defenders defend. Not at Notts though. IB is taking non-league centre backs and is trying to turn them in to Baresi. Defenders should put the ball in to the oppositions half/final third and then the ball players we have can get the ball down and play.
The club are trying to mould all the outfield players into saleable assets. I would rather we had 2 or 3 genuine players that could be improved and potentially sold.

Without JOB it would have been alot worse tonight trust me. First half was putting his foot in well pretty much the only one who was and second half even near the end sprinted 60 yards to cut out a cross from them for a corner. He isn't the problem with this team.

They're all crap and the rest of the league are laughing at us. Maybe we'll lose again Saturday then we can get rid if the idiot. I say maybe lose. Looks like an easy 3 points for yeovil

Let's not pretend that our defence was watertight with Cameron, Rawlinson and Slocombe. It wasn't. Rawlinson and Slocombe weren't up to it last season and nor was Lacey truth be told.

We needed big, battlers in defence and signed Brennan. I genuinely don't think our head of recruitment knows what he's doing. It's very different looking at stats on a screen to managing a football club's recruitment. They clearly don't know as much about this league as they think.

I'm so disappointed in Football Radar.

Our defence has been crap all season
We conceded 4 at home to York in a friendly with Rawls and Cameron playing
You cant escape wondering why we released two defenders like McCrory and Turner and replaced them with what??
No one will convince me they wudnt be better than what weve ended up with now. IB is responsible for these decisions. We are a shambles

I think the owners want us to play this style of play so they will get a coach to suit that.

If they go for a long/direct ball type then we would need to move at least half the squad and replace them.

The biggest worry for me isnt the coach/manager its if the owners walk.

Who knows what the owners want?! When was the last time they made an appearance or commented on anything Notts related? Last I heard they were buying into Viborg.

You can see by how we play, who they appointed and style of players signed.

They are mainly going for young players to sell at a profit a model used at Brentford/Swansea.

It takes time to get that right or to make it work I dont think our fans have the patience for that though.

I think its good they say very little last thing we want is someone letting BBC Nottm in for transfer deadline day eating sweets all day like a kid and then crying at Swindon !
